For Tambourine, anyone can be a neighbour.
On this fragile, fractured planet, there’s stuff to do and some people, some places always miss out.
Globally large, traditional funders often avoid small local groups trying new things. This effectively excludes many creative new models that might show us how to restore people's connection to each other, their communities and their environment. Tambourine seeks to work in this space by giving funds annually to three such groups. We fund our partners for as long as they need to complete a project or until they are able to attract larger funders.
We work where we’re connected and so with some of our Trustee’s having their roots in South Asia, we are currently partnered with three groups (JMS, NCED and LAW Trust) who are based in India and Cambodia - keep on clicking to learn more them, and some previous partners.
We at Tambourine dream of a world where people and groups start where they are, use what they have and do what they can to restore relationships, communities and environments.
